I wrote this poem several years ago to express the beauty of late summer when the sun is golden and the world seems so peaceful.   I made the vase from earthenware clay and glazed it with a lustrous green glaze.   All of the clays and glazes i use are lead free and food safe.  

The poem:  “Sun fills my home with soft golden light/A goldfinch sings in the oak tree/Wind rustles leaves/Chimes tinkle at the edge of my hearing/Who am i to complain?”
