I photographed this little blue sailboat at the beach near my home.   I carved and painted it on brown speckled stoneware.   Brown speckled stoneware is my favorite clay.   I love how the brown speckles peek through, giving the piece an antiqued patina.   May it bring peace and joy to your home!  

I only use food safe and lead free glazes and clays.
